• 1 This 10-piece punch set from Crate & Barrell is a beautiful simple modern design.
• 2 West Elm offers this glamorous oversized hammered metal entertaining bowl that would be a gorgeous punch serving bowl.
• 3 The Equus Pedestal Bowl is an odd and unexpected piece that would garner some tabletop attention!
• 4 The Marcus Bowl from Tina Frey Designs at Design Public is a beautiful resin piece offered in multiple colors.
• 5 While this Apothecary Beverage Dispenser from Z Gallerie can really only serve as a beverage dispenser, we love it and wouldn't mind having it out almost all of the time!

Shaw's Original Fir...
I always manage to forget that I need a punch bowl until the need actually arises, and then it's too late! These are great suggestions. Putting it on my wish list.
I was hoping you'll write the recipe of this strawberry kiwi goodness..
At our Halloween party we realized we hadn't bought a punch bowl so we used a stainless steel mixing bowl. My husband mixed up a rather noxious concoction he calls Toxic Waste and it ate the finish off the bowl! Never again. We will be investing in a nice punch bowl (since I don't think a plastic bowl would have held up any better!).
I'm with Nudik - recipes for the punch!! (ooh, I guess I thought was looking at the Kitchn) :)
I think that first picture is from the C&B catalogue, which unlike the W&S catalogue, doesn't have recipes.
Also, if I remember right the C&B set is around $40, which I think is a great price. I'm tempted to get one.
i love that apothecary jar! i almost bought a whole collection of these for our wedding, but decided to save $400 and rent some plastic ones instead. just rub it in...
:)
I always feel disappointed at a party when I see a punch bowl. Give me a cocktail bar any day and I'm a happy party-goer every time.
I have been looking for a punch bowl for the past week or two. My favorites so far have been vintage pieces found on EBay.
Thrift stores almost always have punch bowls. They usually cost $10 in Chicago thrift stores.
What I need (want) is a candle-heated soup tureen with matching mugs to serve mulled wine or spiced cider. Alas, I don't foresee having the time in the next week, and will likely serve the warm drinks in a crockpot :(
