Check out five of our favorite clocks that we rounded up from Etsy:
• 1 Missing Time clock by CyberMoon
• 2 Large Honeycomb Modern Wall Clock by pilotdesign.
• 3 Embroidered Woodgrain clock from blissinateacup.
• 4 Poppy Red Victorienne clock by uncommon.
• 5 Tupper Time clock by Imotime.
With the multitude of ways to tell time nowadays--cell phones, computers, ipods, etc.--we still cling to the idea of a good old wall clock. There's something about the idea of a stylish timepiece in a home that we love, and aren't ready to abandon for the plentiful digital alternatives.

oooooh, I love them, but my husband would throw a fit! He's a scientist & just can stand clocks without proper markings (it's at least gotta have little tick marks for each number lol).
My favorite clocks though? My pocketwatch china plates! They're always a conversation piece- as most people don't realize they're not clocks right away! :D

Form over function has reached new heights -- or depths.
These are very stylish and all (I'm especially fond of the first one), but I need a clock I can read accurately in a glance. I don't want to have to spend precious minutes figuring out where the numbers would be, if they were marked. How about a round-up of clocks that are stylish AND practical?
love love love the tupperware lid clock!
I love the embroidered one! I don't mind having clocks that are more art pieces than function - but I do think it's necessary to have at least a couple that you can rely on for a quick time check. eConsciousmarket.com offers a neat LED one here: http://worldofgood.ebay.com/Areaware-Numbers-LED-Clock-Yellow/250379894668/item, and BuyGreen.com has some beautiful recycled record clocks that would work well in a modern, latin or India-inspired setting: http://worldofgood.ebay.com/Mandala-Record-Clocks-Designs-Palace-Royal-Blue/270406966517/item.
Call me old fashioned, but I like a clock to be easy to understand. Though clever, those shown would cause frustration.
I still love my Big Ben replica clock I bought when I was in university. Looks good, in my opinion, and easy to read.
oooh skier4life- I like that one! My husband would LOVE that in his office... thanks for sharing! I'll have to keep that in mind!
Etsy always has the best décor stuff....I'm fond of the embroidered one, though the hands are a bit hard to see.
