For those of us living in rentals with unobliging landlords, we usually don't have much latitude when it comes to livening up our bathrooms. Sure, colorful towels, accessories and artwork are helpful, but nothing packs as much of a punch as a shower curtain. Here's a roundup of graphic shower curtains to add some personality to your bathroom.
FROM LEFT TO RIGHT:
1 - The Cityscape Shower Curtain features a sketchy urban landscape presented in charcoal and yellow. The curtain is white canvas with oversized grommets in rustproof brass. Available from CB2 for $39.95.
2 - The Avian Scene Shower Curtain is decorated with colorful embroidered parakeets interacting with black and white flowers and branches. The curtain is made of cotton and is finished with a black voile ruffle along the bottom and 12 buttonholes along the top. Available from Anthropologie for $98.
3 - Reminiscent of the popular tree wallpaper, the Arbor Fabric Shower Curtain is covered in black and gray trees. The curtain is 100% polyester with a button hole top. Available from Target for $34.99.
4 - Varying bold and colorfully patterned leaves fall across a pale turquoise background on the Falling Leaves Shower Curtain. The curtain is made of cotton and features reinforced grommets along the top. Available from Urban Outfitters for $32.
5 - For all those MCM lovers out there, the 50's Birdcage Shower Curtain is covered in an allover reproduction of an original vintage 1950s print of brightly colored birds in birdcages. The curtain is made of cotton and features reinforced holes at the top. Available from Urban Outfitters for $32.

I've decided that I really want a Fornasetti 'Teme e Variazioni' shower curtain. Which is unfortunate since I can't find any evidence that such a thing exists, or ever existed!
My fave of this selection is probably the birdcages.
These are great! Here's another round up of graphic shower curtains: http://thenookonline.com/2010/02/04/shower-curtain-guide/
I've been drooling over that birdcages shower curtain for about a year now. One of these days I might break down and buy it...
I own the shower curtain from CB2 and I love it! It absolutely brightens up an otherwise boring, rental apartment bathroom. The yellow in it also inspired me to bring yellow into the room in other ways: towels, art work, rug, etc. It's nice to walk in there first thing in the morning!
What is the name of the -type- of shower in #1? (Where there is no base/plastic tub for the bottom, only flooring.)
my favorite is this fun, graphic and retro bathing beauties shower curtain?

I prefer glass doors if and when possible, and plain white waffle weave the rest of the time. But some of these are cute, if they fit your style.
I really like the second one, with the ruffle bottom. Very cute.

I'm a big fan of the openness of a clear plastic shower curtain - cheap and makes a small rental bathroom seem a bit bigger and brighter! But if I were to use an actual real life shower curtain that cost more that $5, I would totally go in the direction of one of these. They're so fun and cool :)
I have searched EVERYWHERE for the '50's Birdcage Shower Curtain' - which long ago sold-out at Urban Outfitters... Does anyone know where I can still find it? Thanks!
