We've definitely mentioned it before, but if you're guilty of throwing clothes all around the bedroom (or have a 2 week old pile thrown over the back of a chair) hooks could possibly change you life. They keep clothes off of the floor and solve the I've only worn it once, so it isn't technically dirty, but I don't want to put it back in the drawer dillemna. Some of our favorite hooks right here:
Some recent faves are the Ironwork Hook and 5 Alarm Hook From Anthropologie.

can i just say that i'd like to stick one of those knives in my husband when he throws his clothes on the ground after wearing once :)
and this is why i love AT! between the linen cabinet post and this one - 2 things i'm currently in the market for are listed right here in handy dandy lists.
thanks!
too bad the "it's beautiful here" coat rack is about $400. and that's about $370 over my budget. ugh.
i completely subscribe to the not technically dirty theory...and they all end up on the floor. Great idea, thanks
I inherited four bedroom hooks when I moved into my apartment, and holy cow have they changed my habits. Less laundry, few piles, and my clothes have much less cat hair.
Since Joan in SB mentioned the "where to put linens post" let me add the best idea I've heard. If you have two sets of linens for each bedroom, take the set that's not being used and put it in a pillow sham on the bed. That's the best example of found space I've seen. I am pretty sure I read it in a Martha Stewart publication.
I'm totally going for this. I can't say that I necessarily hold out much hope that my boyfriend will actually put the clothes on the hook, but at least I can move them from the floor to the hook then :)
I installed some hooks in my bedroom after reading a recent AT post on hooks in the bedroom (a la hotel rooms). Made such a difference... now I hang up my next day outfit, so I'm not scrambling in the morning. While some of those posted are expensive, The Container Store has some functional and stylish ones at reasonable prices.
omg, LauraE, I think you just made my week.
i am addicted to the double-clothes hook that is pictured (in pink) in the first photo. i buy them in a nickel finish from the hardware store for like $3 per two-pack.
This is totally on my weekend to-do list, so thanks for the extra ideas!! Looking forward to less wrinkled "not-technically dirty" clothes already!
it's dilemma
i want the white branch hooks at urban outfitters... and they're on sale now too. i have a huge problem with throwing clean clothes on the floor! especially hoodies.
I have hooks on the back of bedroom and bathroom doors, plus inside closet and armoire doors!!!
thats what my house needs.. hooks. ive been searching for some decently priced skateboard trucks to hang at our entry way. on average they go for about 20 bucks.. i want three. soo, yeah. anyway.
