No longer just for Grandma’s guest bath, the metallic wallpaper trend continues to remain on the upswing with vintage retailers offering wider selections than ever and contemporary designers who are reinterpreting these fabulous foils.
This month, as we explore color in the home, we take a closer look at wall coverings - in particular, metallics. With businesses like Flavor Paper giving this retro look new life and an uprising of exotic, vintage mylar papers becoming available online, there are more options than ever from which to choose.

Bradbury & Bradbury has a nice selection of metallic wallpaper. Check out the Art Deco section of their site for some great historical options:

I love anything from Florence Broadhurst.
My best friend growing up lived in a house that her parents had professionally decorated in 1977. They had a ton of metallic wall paper (#5 and #8 could really be their house). I loved it in 1995. Who knew it would come back 10 years later.
Number 2 is great.
