Target currently has a really big selection of patterned chairs available from florals to abstracts. They come in lots of colors and in multiple styles, but the one word that describes them all is bold. Prices range from just under $300 on up and they might be just the thing to spice up a neutral-heavy sitting area...jump below for prices & links:Top Row, left to right:

The bird and floral is a direct rip-off of Thomas Paul - http://www.artthatfits.com/art/EnlargePage.aspx?ImageId=428091
...so are several of the others, such as the Floral Print - Mango and the Clyburn Loft - Aegean.

The birds and Aegean are part of the fabrics he's got going on with Duralee, so it may be a legit use.
Really, these are from Target? I have never seen these before! Totally cute, totally Awesome!
Thank you for letting me Post a Comment!

these are adorable! I could forgo my neutral color scheme and add some color with these without feeling guilty!
We almost got two of the orange one (except in yellow.) I'm glad we didn't in the end though because we really couldn't afford it and we found way cooler vintage chairs on CL. But yeah, these chairs are pretty sweet. I LOVE target and check their site almost daily, and when I saw these last month I was totally in love.
Love the patterns on the armless chairs. I only wish that they had the same patterns for their arm chairs. I've been stalking their site and they have only released 2 patterns in the arm chairs, which aren't so attractive. I love to curl up in a big comfy chair.
maybe thomas paul got a contract with them just like other designers in the past...besides, he totally ripped off chinese paper cut-outs!
I thought we loved Target *because* they're so good at design rip-offs.
i dont think these are rip-offs. like others have said thomas paul has a collection of fabrics with duralee...
urban outfitters has a fainting sofa in one of his fabrics, as well as an arm chair similar to the one shown that i want.

not cheap
i am just not liking these chairs
I just bought the bird & floral pattern in maize and it was 15% off free shipping. With tax it was $272, though it won't ship until the beginning of March, apparently.
I don't call that cheap, but I also don't call it overpriced, so I hope it's as cute as the photo. Thanks for the tip, AT.
the aegean is definitely my favorite! and it's also one of the more expensive ones; go figure.
although i adore target, i wonder if my best bet is to just find a fixer-upper on craigslist and reupholster?
So adorable!!! I want!
I just bought 1 as well. :)
Thanks AT! What cute inexpensive chairs!
I know designers at several big chains. Yes, rip offs are standard. I don't know what to say about it, but that's the way it is.
These chairs look great, but somehow I couldn't justify spending $300 plus for an item at Target.
...loving that Thomas Paul-esque orange
Thanks for the links!!
Great to see these at such low prices, but at the same time bummed to see that Target is using 3 of the fabrics I wanted to use for upcoming projects (just about all of the fabrics pictured can be found at Calico Corners for under $24.99/yard).... back to the drawing board.
