These rooms are all very different -- some sophisticated, some playful -- but what they all have in common is an uncluttered layout, a soothing color palette, and a definite sense that sleep is the first priority for their occupants (and more to the point, for their occupants' parents).

Our toddler's bedroom is a sleep haven, too. All her books and toys are in the living room. Because I can't think of anything more important than her sleeping. I enjoy the Color Contests around here, but I have to say they make me cringe at the thought of sleeping in one!
This is a great post - bringing us all back to what a bedroom is really for... REST!
