Yesterday we talked about how to make your own custom removable wallpaper using lightweight fabric and starch. Some of you balked. For those that had terrible visions of a starch stained room and a lost weekend, here's a roundup of ready to go wallpapers that are guaranteed to remove without a trace when you move:

Overlapping Leaves temporary wallpaper from Pottery Barn
Tempaper Removable Paper comes in these great art nouveau patterns and they recently launched a more subdued range of color palettes. The top image is also Tempaper.
Easychange Wallpaper from Sherwin Williams comes in more traditional patterns, but if you dig, you can definitely find some modern looking designs.
Do you know of another resource for temporary or removable wallpapers?

First to you question here is another website where you can buy them:

Second, I used to really hate wallpapers and removed all of them when we bought our current house (an old couple used to live here)...
Now I'm learning to like them because you can find some very modern ones that look really cool.
Here is what Kit Pollard wrote about them:

I really like the one in the dining room there (by Blacksheep) and may even consider something similar for my dining room :-)
Those all seem a bit sweet for my liking- But since we are on the subject:
I am loving these-

The "paste the wall" wallpapers from Graham & Brown are easy to put up and much, much easier to remove than traditional paper. Wouldn't necessarily call them "temporary", but it's close -- and they've got plenty of great (and modern!) options.
Is temporary wallpaper basically like really nice contact paper?
Wow..this just might solve part of my tiny weird room dilemma!

Where's that first gray paper from? (In the teaser photo.)
Where can I find afordable wallpaper online?
We applied Tempaper to the walls of our guest bathroom, right over the 80's flame-stitch wallpaper and with great success. Couldn't have been easier. And it's exactly like really nice contact paper, if by really nice contact paper you mean no one would ever guess it's not traditional paste and pattern. I'd never have tried to actually wallpaper this bathroom -- it's so small, we'd rather wrestle cats in there -- but this product is easy to handle and can be flawlessly applied. Honest. And affordable -- we used exactly one roll, at a cost of $80.
hmmm.
does anyone know how these wallpapers would work over my landlords awful mural? i want to cover it without causing any damage to it...obv.
Thanks for this round up, even though it is a few years old. I just completed a room using the easychange paper and am so happy with it, I also used it to make over a basic ikea bookcase. For those interested, I posted my results here.
We purchased 2 rolls of Tempaper when Fab.com had a sale last year. The stuff is awful. It was much harder to work with than the real wallpaper we got from Ferm Living a couple years back. The trouble is that because you have a backing paper to unroll while you are applying it, you can't go around corners and it's very hard to apply. Bubbles abound. Honestly, you're better off with doing real wallpaper. We're going to do a painted stencil instead. I'm selling the rest on ebay. Also, the quality of the print on tempaper is poor. I have a friend who does large scale vinyl graphics and they were appalled. One caveat- maybe if you are doing just a small wall with no coners, doors, windows, etc you might have ok luck. I'm just glad I didn't pay full price for this failed experiment. You do have to be careful because it pulled the paint off when we removed it- admittedly, that is probably the awful paint job in our rental, but still something to consider.
I have to agree with Gragegrl....my girlfriend & I have been working on the Tempaper application to a very clean and easy wall in our apt every night this week. It is very difficult to work with. And the air bubbles are really unbelievable. If the paper was thicker I think it would be easier. But we are averaging an hour to apply one strip of paper. Definitely extremely tedious. The other problem is that regular wallpaper at least has some give - you can slid it into position a bit easier when you're trying to line it up. This paper is basically a large adhesive and it's doesn't allow you to maneuver it into place. Can't wait to done with this application.
FINALLY! I just found a temporary wallpaper co that has a huge selection of solids: Wallpaper Dolls! Its still pricey at $72.00 for a 2x8 roll, but if your really looking for a hot bold solid color (like me - hot pink!) then the dolls might be your new bff :)
