Not only will these make you smile, but your guests as well! It's the small details on the tabletop that can really stand out in the overall display.
Go against the grain with these sets. Pair with any of these nifty napkin rings, and your well on your way to a great table display.

You can get the Good Chemistry Salt and Pepper Shakers at ThinkGeek.com (for cheaper), in case anyone was bummed that they are not currently available on amazon.com
I have the Good Chemistry shakers! They are so cute, but much smaller in person than they appear to be in their pictures.
Does anyone have vintage shakers that are so pretty you want to reuse them but the corks are pushed inside the shakers? I can't get them out. And then it's hard to find corks to refit them. Grrrr....
@FengShuiByFishgirl - If you're not looking to use the corks again, can you stick a small x-acto knife in there and cut the corks so the pieces will be small enough to come out through the hole?
I love those rocket salt and pepper shakers! I probably won't even use them as that, though. I don't use salt and pepper shakers, but I like them.
My salt and pepper shakers...Magnetic vampires. More Halloween than T-day/Xmas, but every day is Halloween at my house.
Holy Mole. Love the rocket ones. Will never spend 50 dollars on a salt and pepper shaker, but might for a "rocket sculpture".
I have the Banana Bros one - they are supercute :)
One of the few things I'd be happy to display in my kitchen was it not for my pesky cats and their penchant for playing with every.single.thing.

Adorable russian doll shakers.. only $8!
Oooh, this post has reminded me of the fish salt & pepper shakers that I found in an antique store this year... here I've put up a picture (http://foxsyd.blogspot.com/2010/11/collecting-fishy-salt-pepper-shakers.html ), they are adorable! And I've never seen anything like them before. That's why I like the idea of collecting salt & pepper shakers, sometimes they can be so unique.
I have the Good Chemistry shakers too :o) I bought mine in 2007 in a design store in Shanghai, as well as a wonderful "drowning-man bathtub plug" I have posted a comment about before :o)
we have the banana boat set and the lilliput set - so much fun! i enjoy it more than guests. we also have a salt shaker than spins like a top.
