You ever have one of those days when it just feels like the earth hates you? Nothing seems to go right, stress is at an all-time high, and nothing sounds more inviting than crawling back into bed and giving up on the day completely. Well, according to a study conducted at Rutgers University, women who received flowers felt euphoric for three days as opposed to women who got candles or candy--the buzz didn't even last into the afternoon. So here's an easy, scientifically proven way to help a female friend out of her funk: bring her some flowers. Considering that fresh flowers seems to rank consistently in our top five home indulgences, we've compiled a few tips on where to get them (for cheap...er), how to arrange them, and how to keep get them to last a few days longer...
