With the holidays fast approaching, you may be feeling anxiety over the sheer number of visitors who could be viewing your home this season. Don’t feel like you’ve got to spend tons of money updating your furniture to create an impact on these holiday guests, why not invest in some wall stickers to update your decor? Vinyl stickers, while certainly not new, have exploded recently, with all sorts of companies creating and selling unique vinyl wall stickers. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite manufacturers to help you find the stickers of your dreams…
- Tasty Suite We just loved the affordable and quirky sticker options we found here, especially these adorable stickers to put on your cabinet doors and drawers. Prices were very reasonable and some stickers are available in a variety of colors.
- Ferm Living We love the unique yet classic images you can create on your walls with this company's stickers. Our favorite will probably always be the wall-sized power line sticker. And while prices are a bit of an investment, the designs and the ability to remove and reuse these stickers make the price tags worth it.
- Stickers by dVider Pop art-like, edgy, post modern, all words we would use to describe these stickers. But they're also a ton of fun too! We loved some of the shapes available and enjoyed the range of colors as well. Prices are reasonable.
- Blik If you're looking for variety, Blik is the way to go. We're just not sure if there's any other company out there that offers so many different sticker options. We like how many categories are available and love that they bring in artists and graphic designers to turn their hip styles into stickers you can use at home. Prices vary, but every price is a good deal for what you get.
- d. garden collections We just loved these stickers for their slightly frosted and translucent look, which can be applied on windows in places that you want the light to come in, but don't want people looking in. These stickers can even be applied on the exterior of windows. We wished there was a larger selection, but did like the options that were available.
- Mira En Tu Interior Okay, we're adore these wall stickers from this Spanish company. They're a bit on the pricey side and shipping will be a bit extra, but there's something so wonderfully whimsical and organic about the designs. Lots of colors available too!

I tend to make my own wall decals with some Adobe Illustrator skills and some Contact Paper. Power Pole Birds and Flowered Branch (closeup).
Aside from Ferm Living, I get some inspiration from The Winkplay Tailor Collection and zanier ideas from Domestic.fr.
The Ikea in San Diego offers wall stickers, maybe others do too?
As a renter without the option to paint my walls, the custom decal I ordered on Etsy (oneupdesigns.etsy.com) really pulled the nursery decor together.
Call me when this fad is over...
Fun w/wall decals in the laundry room!

How about just leave the wall plain and simple?
I am pretty much over the wall decal trend. But I really like that last website. Is there a way to switch it to English?
Happiness,
How do you make your own?
hey,
we like kids wall decals at www.Art-A-Peel.com
there's something about temporary decorating that screams "children", you know?

I made a tutorial for How To: Make Your Own Wall Decal, but there's plenty of other 'how to's out there for it as well.
Basically: Buy some 'contact paper' from Amazon.com or Aubuchon Hardware, cut your desired design out of it in reverse and then stick it on the wall. Contact paper is somewhat re-transferable, and it completely comes off the walls. It's great for renters (*cough* like me).
idiotdogbrain - in the upper right corner there are 3 flags. The British flags switches most of the copy to English. Good luck.
i'm a bit over this in main areas, but i think it can be a fun surprise in others. for example, i wouldn't do it in the living room, but i'm thinking about doing my own design on the back wall of my murphy bed.
Go to any sign shop with your own image and they can make anything for you. Glow in the dark, reflective, blah blah blah.
As someone who works in a sign shop, I am totally over this whole thing.
Why would you want to buy from a company that states, "We love vinyl. We do. Whats not to love?" (tasty suite)
Like the idea, but let's move on...
www.walstick.com also offering the same home wall stickers to both children and adult, products are great and creative too.
