Nothing says spring like tooling around on your own set of wheels with the wind in your ears and gravel in your knees. When we were kids, our choices were pretty much limited to pedal bikes, but these days, with so many options out there, why not encourage your kid to try something new? We've rounded up some of our favorite free-wheelin' posts below the jump.
From left to right, starting with the top row:
- LIKEaBIKE
- Rickshaw
- Wishbone Bike
- Sevi Moto Bike
- Nad-Ofen Concept Rocking Cycle by Amir Zobel
- Nirve Paul Frank Bicycles
- Whirly Wheel
- Moov by Berg Toys
- Strider Running Bike

I cannot believe you didn't throw the Skuut wooden bike into your line-up!

My folks gave this to my son for his 2nd birthday and I can honestly say it has been the most used of all his things. He is now 3 1/2 and still uses it every day!
Skuut is a knockoff of Germany's LikeaBike, so it's kind of on here. ;-)
Skuut is affordable, which immediately lowers it's coolness value.
Doh! You're right - the Skuut is cool. I can't believe I forgot it, too, especially since half the kids I know have one. :)
