Located in West Sussex, UK, Roundwood Timber Framing Co is a specialist carpentry and building firm producing jointed timber frame buildings using round poles of durable timber species from well managed woodlands. Dedicated to building with local resources, they build homes with materials grown as close to the building site as possible - including roundwood timber, or timber that hasn't been planed in a sawmill.

Ben Law of Roundwood Timber Framing actively engages with the community by teaching and writing about everything from how to choose appropriate trees to how to lay a proper foundation, as well as various framing, jointing and pegging techniques. From there comes the construction of floors, roofs and walls using natural materials like cob and straw bales.
