In my previous home, I had three rubber duckies lined up on the top of the tub/shower enclosure. In my present home, I have a green duckie my daughter bought for me at the Baltimore aquarium. A friend with twins says her sons love their pirate duckie!
I used to have some which I displayed, until I gave them to my nephew. AFter this gift he became obsessed with them, so I pick one up occasionally to add to his collection. He now has (among many) a polka dot duck for Easter, a pirate duck that spits water, and a space shuttle duck from Cape Canaveral. The latter is slightly odd because the space shuttle lands on land, but my brother does a great splashdown in which he stands on the edge of the bathtub and spikes the duck into David's bath from 'outer space.'
The problem with rubber ducks is finding one that floats properly. So many of the smaller ones capsize. I say we all write the makers of rubber ducks re: the design vs. aesthetics issue, and ask them to come up with a good-looking duck that actually floats well.
I like the rubber duckies that have temperature indicators for baby's bathtime. Some of these are now 'dressed up' as well. Cute, kid-friendly and practical.
I have two ducks, a yellow boy duck and his little green girlfriend. They are cheery little critters, I don't think I'd want to have a whole collection though.

I'm remembering sue johanson's rubber duck - she brought it on letterman, once, and it scared him. Badly. It vibrates.

My shower curtain liner is printed with rubber ducks. I have two different "devil ducks" which are really part of my Funny Devil collection, and a black P.S.1 duck from New York's Museum of Modern Art - he lives downtown so of course he's wearing all black!
I have a Statue of Liberty duckie -- my favorite -- that gets one of two corners in my bathtub. Perfect for NYC.
My 25 year old brother has his whole bathroom decorated w/ rubber ducks. He has a warhol-esque rubber ducky shower curtain and rubber duck accessories. He may even have towels to match it.
I promised him I'd do him a painting of a rubber duck sometime. :p
