The dining room of this house on Rue Berri just makes us want to bask in the sun. The double-height space is washed with light from the side and above, and the window wall opens fully for dining en plein air.

Designed by Brière, Gilbert and Associates of Montreal, the home's renovation included new construction of an upper story and the open dining room in the rear of the house.
We love those plants along one full wall of the dining room. They just strengthen the room's already strong ties to the outdoors.

Not really relevant to this post, Regina, but I am thrilled that you are coming to us live from Montreal... Thanks for the great Can-con.
Who is the designer of those chairs? Anybody have a source?
