Ruffled curtains and shower curtains with ruffled valances. Shudders.
Yah, I know ruffles are big these days, but they read as twee to me and a maintenance nightmare. Just so busy.... A little ruffling for the girly-cottagey look if that's your thing, sure, but these are overkill: death by ruffle. However, as always in matters of taste, it's personal, and for those who swoon over ruffles to the max, it's nice that this look is available.

When I see ruffled curtains, I smell dust. Ruffled organdy window coverings were common in bedrooms when I was young. No,matter how good the housekeeping, they always carried a smell.
