Whether you scored a Hudson's Bay Company point blanket on eBay, a new Pendleton throw, a MacAusland's heirloom, or you simply have a well-loved woolly blanket from your grandparents of unknown origin, you can definitely find a spot for it in your home. Traditional log cabin gear — from colorful blankets to vintage canteens and log furniture — have made a comeback. Sure, you can pile it on thick to make a room worthy of Paul Bunyan. I prefer a touch of tough amidst modern interiors in the form of a beautiful blanket thrown over the bed or couch.

I love every one <3
Traditional woolen blankets are so gorgeous, not to mention practical here, for like 9 months out of the year :) I could swear the warmth of wool FEELS DIFFERENT from another kind of blanket. More soft, cocooning. Not to mention that they are anti-microbial, fire resistant, breathing, can soak up to 40% of their own weight in moisture without feeling wet, and wool also relieves pain.
I've had a Pendleton for 5+ years now, and i LOVE it. It covers my robin's egg blue sofa from my dog's naps. It totally worth the cash you'll lay down, cause it only gets better with age.
