The worlds of fashion and interior design are not that far apart - both provide a way to express yourself through color, texture, shape and style. So, to stay up on the colors that will likely be in the mix for interiors, one doesn't have to look far beyond the colors that are showing up on the runway.
We checked out the Pantone Fashion Color report for Fall 2010 and these are the colors that the group of designers they worked with picked as ones they would be encorporating into their collections:

Do you see any that might "crossover" into your living room?

I did not even know what the colors of the year were, I just repainted my house in the turquoise/coral colors (mine is more burnt orange). These colors are so fresh and go so well with the Miami beach atmosphere!
I love it -- Most of these colors are already in my apartment! They're so vibrant and fun!
Oyster grey might hit my bathroom walls here in the next month. Love a subdued slightly warm neutral.
Just painted the kitchen cabinets Vermillion and mounted Antique Brass handles - the walls are going Black Bean Soup to match the living room walls...
...I guess that's as close to Lipstick Red, Golden Glow and Chocolate Truffle as I'm getting.
LOVE the colors! I'm glad to see that gray is still huge. The vibrant colors are gorgeous and I could see any of them in my apartment. In fact I just had my dining room chairs reupholstered in a coral velvet. If only I could paint my walls gray...but the landlord says nay.

We used a warm grey (Behr Granite Boulder) similar to Oyster Grey in our kitchen and I had to restrain myself from putting it all over the house. I also love love love that Woodbine green.
Wow, turquoise doesn't quit, does it?
Gray is my first choice for walls.
Love the rose dust and the endive...

Wrap me in Purple Orchid, Chocolate Truffle, Oyster Grey & Woodbine & bury me happy!
Let's remember why the designers list of must-have colors exists. It's to sell you more "stuff".
Choose wisely.
And call me the spelling/grammar police if you must, but AT--incorporating is spelled with an I, not an E.
I agree with mjs. It's a little silly -- I'd probably drool over any nice collection of colors they put together. Why don't they just provide public access to their library of colors? Then they could help people find their own personal styles, instead of telling people what to like.
