We always love the tableware from the Sundance Catalog, so we were especially excited to see this new addition: a ceramic pitcher by famed designer Russell Wright, who revolutionized the look of the American table in the mid-20th century.

This reproduction of Wright's design by Sundance is a bit of a coup, as the fabulous Bauer Pottery has an almost exclusive hold on Wright's iconic designs and colors. We like the soft, spring-like palette Sundance has chosen for this version of the pitcher; it goes nicely with the organic feel of some of their other tableware products.

Bauerware itself has a much larger collection of Russell Wright "American Modern" tableware as well, in those appealing signature soft colors. The "chop platter" in sea foam is one of our favorites, with its softly curved edge.
The Russell Wright pitcher is available for $90 at Sundance.

The Russel Wright is $15 cheaper than the Sundance Pitcher: $75 as compared to $90.
when oneida reproduced these about 5 years ago, bed bath and beyond were clearing them out for $10/each... my wife bought several.
The Oneida versions can still be found cheaply on eBay!
