We love looking to European retailer Zara Home for staging inspiration. Their catalog photos always present unique ideas, usually with a unifying theme behind them. This year, the spring catalog is all about rustic style: timber headboards, layered blankets in natural colors, and lantern light fixtures. Click below for a few ideas...

Rustic Metallics: soft gray walls, antique mirror, white cotton blankets, and a wooden chair rail

Cabin Chic: clapboard walls, distressed metal side tables, and a checked blanket

Cottage Colors: pale gray, worn white, and a bunch of wildflowers

Cool and Calm: worn wood side tables, lantern lights, and a crocheted bedspread

Dark and Moody: blue-gray with glazed ceramic accessories

I'm really liking all of these looks, but I wish Zara wouldn't invite the local dojo to practice on their pillows before photo shoots.
Isn't Zara home supposed to be launching stateside soon?
Seaside had better not be kidding. 'Cause I am still sore to have failed to go to either of their Paris stores during my last vacation. When they were carrying a Bollywood collection to make the heart sing.
what is with the illuminated disco dance floor?
Retailers like to push the pillows because they have massive profit margins on them.
If they can find a way to get you to NEED a dozen or more pillows for the room to be complete, they know they will be rolling in cash.
Their new collection looks very good. I like these bedroom designs...
Wow, think about all the pillows wasted for these beds - LOL -- take all the unnecessary ones from the beds and we'd have pillows for dozens of beds.
We each sleep with two pillows apiece since we're both accustomed to it from our single days - but even when the bed is made, there is only five on it since I use one throw pillow. It's mostly there for when someone is reading in bed and wants/needs an extra pillow to prop up.
I agree with RichardinLA - retailers want people to think they need a dozen pillows.
ok i can't find any of the furniture or nightstands on their website. am i missing something???
