Bedroom Look Book: Rustic Touches & Neutral Palettes

I love a space with simple, clean lines decked out in white on white or neutral colors of almost any shade. I especially love it when you throw in a few rustic details here or there, but lets be clear. It's easy to go overboard and have no desire for any of my rooms — especially the bedroom — to look like I'm sleeping in an old barn or log cabin.

The key to achieving this look is to carefully edit your space, limiting the rusticness to a simple architectural element or piece of furniture. Even though it might be limited to one exposed brick wall, wood beams or worn leather chair in the corner, the neutral palette of the room will allow this unrefined detail to stand out in stark contrast.
