What I Love About My Small Home:
When first viewed I instantly knew the apartment was a perfect blank canvas for epxperimenting with my new design aesthetic. The exposed beams and vaulted ceilings are beautiful. The apartment was built in 1668 and has a unique character that can only be acquired with time. I take pride in the fact that as an artist my hand has a part in many aspects of the home. The photo over the sofa was taken out the window of my pick-up truck driving cross country with my brother. The side tables are logs found in an alley in Arizona. The coffee table I made from a giant piece of wood that washed up on shore in Long Island. The Bar cart was rescued from an abandoned warehouse down the block. The Huge chandelier I grabbed from a salvage shop for $200 spray painted white and hung from an old pully given to me by my granfather. I thrive on trying to proove that great design doesnt have to cost a fortune and can have sentimental meaning as well.
