Sabrina Soto, designer, HGTV star, and author, shared her summer style with us:
The Color of Summer 2012:
Mint green.
All Time #1 Vacation Location:
Maui, Hawaii. Every time I set foot on the island, I feel like I'm home.
Hotel You'd Love to Escape To:
Four Seasons, Wailea, Hawaii.
Most Prized Souvenir from Your Travels:
Local art I picked up in Costa Rica.
Planted in the Garden this Year:
I live in an apartment in NYC, but when I lived in DC, I planted tomatoes, basil, lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini and mint.
Favorite Patio in the World:
My sister's patio in Los Angeles, with her kids running around me.
Must Have Item for Summer Entertaining:
Target's stemless acrylic wine glasses and Ice & Go Infuser Pitcher. I use them every weekend when I have guests over!
Most Refreshing Summertime Drink:
Spicy Soto (my spicy sangria) and unsweetened iced tea.
Essential Song for Your Party Playlist:
Phoenix — If I Ever Feel Better
Foster The People — Warrant
Mike Snow — Song for No One
Passion Pit — Little Secrets
Amos Lee — Supply & Demand
Best Book in the Beachbag:
Sabrina Soto Home Design, of course :) and I'm about to start Andy Cohen's Most Talkative. I just bought a Kindle (finally), so I plan on reading tons of books this summer… if my schedule permits!
Thanks, Sabrina!

J'adore! The High/Low Project is one of HGTVs most watchable shows.
I love High/Low. My minor critique is that while some of the DIYs are great, some tend to skew toward "home sewn".
Totally agree with that playlist! Love Amos Lee. For a party its nice to have a little soul-folk music mixed in. You might check out this version of Amos Lee Keep It Loose as well.
