Tax Free Day: When Is Your State's Sales Tax Holiday?

Did you know that many states have "tax free" days during which you can make purchases exempt from taxes (up to a maximum amount)? Non-taxed Items range from clothing and school supplies to Energy Star products, computers, and air conditioners. Consider a 10% sales tax on something like a $2,000 computer or refrigerator and that's a whopping $200 savings! Even on smaller items, every little bit saved helps. Read on through to see the full list of 2011 sales tax holidays in the United States, many of them this upcoming weekend.

While some of these tax free days have already passed, there are still quite a few states with sales tax holidays coming up.
