As a long admirer of artist Sam Gilliam's work I was thrilled to see Home & Design's feature of the brilliant Rock Creek abode that he shares with G Fine Art owner, Annie Gawlak. Their home is a brilliant mix of light-maximizing architecture and breathtaking art installations— a living gallery balancing refreshing white and uplifting color.

• 1. One of Mr. Gilliam's vibrant paintings creates a colorful focal point in the gallery-esque room.
• 2. Brightly painted chairs around the dining table pick up on Gilliam's lively draped canvas work and his large painting hanging behind the dining area.
• 3. The colorful quilt picks up on the rainbow of colors that Gilliam uses in his work displayed above the bed.
• 4. A large W.C. Richardson painting greets guests in the entrance hall.

To learn more about the home, which was helped to be brought to life by the talented Mary Douglas Drysdale, check out the full article in Home & Design here.
