Best Tip for Traveling with Kids: Before a trip, I go through the house and find a bunch of little toddler safe objects (measuring spoons, little toys, etc.) and put them in a bag. Whenever he starts to get antsy during the drive, I reach in the bag and give him something new to look at. The game lasts as long as you have items in the bag. The last road trip we went on, we tried to drive at night and he decided not to sleep. A glow stick left over from Halloween kept him occupied for almost an hour.
Favorite Way to Make it Feel Like Home: We try to keep Sam's nap and the bed time routine as consistent as possible. He gets all the sleep he needs, and his dad and I get time to relax together.
An Item you MUST Take With You While Traveling: We never leave without Mr. Bear, plenty of books and sunblock.
