- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I do not view my small home as a limitation, but as an opportunity!
I have turned my apartment into an art project, curating a combination of styles that transcend the boundaries of physical walls.
Living room: European classic
Bathroom: International (Mexican Fiesta)
Bedroom: Rustic vintage
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- With compact living quarters, a New York City apartment owner must find new and innovative design solutions. Creating a fresh theme for each room, with hints of connecting design elements, allows for a natural circulation and seemingly limitless space.
Achieving a beautiful and unique home doesn't require large amounts of money or square footage; just a touch of inspiration and a boost of motivation. In my choices in décor, I aimed for both charming and personal. The carefully composed display of artwork and decorative accents throughout turns each room into tasteful eye candy.
As a young collector, I steer away from procuring art of a certain theme or genre; I purchase what I like. After all, I’m the one that has to live with it! The furniture was sourced at local antique fairs, vintage outlets and design showrooms…Ikea for the staples.
