Little is known so far about this tiny computer microphone from Samson Technologies. All that we do know is that it seems right up Unplggd's alley: It's a small little retro-tech-looking mic for any and all of you serious broadcasters out there, but it's providing some impressive specifications for such a tiny little USB gizmo.
We spotted this guy on Boing Boing Gadgets, who got a hold of a press release.
The supposedly great sound comes from a condenser transducer and a 20Hz to 18kHz frequency response.
Judging from the tiny pictures, it also seems like it's built to be compact and carried along with a laptop. The microphone folds into a clip for travel, but then that clip becomes a mounting base that sits atop your laptop screen.
We're expecting the mic to cost $50, but we'll keep you updated if we see this beauty in the wild.
