The team over at Engadget joke
about the Samsung Tango being able to clean bedding alongside flooring, but as a two pet household, we'd love an automated helper that would keep both our floors and our bed/furniture clean of hair and dirt. If they can only figure out how to get the floor vacs from floor up to onto furnishings (a new challenge for Dean Kamen)...
13 sensors, including a 30fps camera and a crash sensor that sends out 26 to 6000 bursts to keep your little friend from crashing into anything, keep Tango on track of cleaning your floors up to 1cm distance of objects. A remote control lets you command and direct the Tango from the comforts of anywhere. It's just too bad the $425 to $600 device is a Korea-only release at the moment, as Roomba needs some domestic competition, if to up the ante in both features and industrial design.
