This cozy studio, dubbed the "Peggy M," is almost entirely outfitted with freebies via Craigslist, including an upright piano. While the bio diesel house-van gets a rather unimpressive 15 MPG, it's not bad for a studio apartment...

The two owners of the pink Ford Econoline-350-turned-studio, Crockett Bodelson and Sandra Wang, don't currently live in the home but did last June through August. (Sleeping in a vehicle is against the law in many cities.)

The studio is complete with a workshop area (the couple are artists and have traveled up and down California selling their paintings), an upright piano and two mattresses that hang overhead via a pulley system.
