Anyone have good directions for planting? Is it just sand or is it layered?
So beautiful, but so not possible with cats! Ha!! :D
Hi Lizzykewl! Are you planning to plant indoors? What kind of plants are they? Cactus and Succulents or houseplants that loves water? General rule for planting indoors is to lay some rocks or activated charcoal on the bottom to help with drainage. This is especially important for planting desert plants as they like to stay pretty dry. The charcoal also helps to prevent algae from growing in the base of your pots. After that you can add some indoor soil then put your plant in and add more soil to burry the roots.
If you are planting a plants that love moisture/water, you can skip putting the rocks down. Hope this helps and make your experience a bit more enjoyable. :)
i like the drawing part :)
