- What I Love About My Small Home:
- We love having a little bedroom and a big dressing area. It's so cozy to sleep in a compact space, and so luxurious to have a separate room just for dressing and lounging.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- The apartment only has one tiny closet, so the biggest challenge was finding a place for all our stuff. We hung shelves in the kitchen to hold our culinary necessities, and the birch branch in the dressing room eliminates the need for another armoire (we already have two). Otherwise, the apartment actually seems huge. We both come from < 300 sf studios, so 925 sf feels palatial.

I like all your things, and your storage solutions. (And using that tiny room for a bedroom!)
I feel like I'd want to re-arrange things, and switch room functions all the time - very luxurious (my house with very designated rooms doesn't allow for that kind of flexibility).
Is there a reason none of the couches are really facing each other? Or is that just the way it comes across in photos?
super stylish and really inviting!!!!
I love the birch branches!
that is one tiny bedroom. beautifully decorated though!
I love that the bedroom is small and the dressing room is big
the birch branches are really cool!
Nice Rack! I love the clothes rack in the room!!! Awesome idea!
don't know that I would have used the space in this way myself, but I can't deny that it IS beautifl and seems to work for you!
the closet is brilliant.
That low seating nook by the window is fantastic. I love it all.
An entire room just for dressing? Interesting choice! I do like the organization, very clean, very tidy, very cool! I personally would switch room, bedroom would be the bigger room. But thats just me. OR if I did keep the larger room as the dressing room, I would totally outfit it with shelves upon shelves, upon shelves of shoes, and little cubby holes for purses. BTJM!
I want to come over and lounge on all the lovely lounge-ready couches! I love how this place manages be pulled-together, cozy, and a little funky all at same time. Great hygge!
I love the mix and match of chairs around the dining room table... very eclectic and cute! And that yellow phone is fabulous! :)
love your bed, so cozy!!
Please tell me the paint source, that is the PERFECT shade of grey.
... AND the source for that "C" print, please!! I just keep mulling over the pictures!! :)
Really well organized. Love all the little areas you've created in the living/dining area. What a luxury to have an entire room for dressing!
Love your low seating area. Your place has a very cool vibe.
Very awesome.
I love the coziness of the dark paint in the bedroom and dressing room - the personal rooms - and the more open, brighter colors of the communal rooms. Nicely done!
This is one of those peeks that made me wish for a full tour - I kept wanting to click around to see the other side of each great space. :)
This is such a well designed home. Very unique and not boring and cookie cutter. I love it when people think outside the box.
Brilliant! Use the tiny closet to sleep in and use the bedroom as large clothing storage!
wow this is super cool! love the branch as a hanging closet!
wow just amazing!!!! It looks soooo big! And I second that request for the gray paint...PERFECT!
Love your style! Especially the lounge area and the branch hanger!
thank you for the wonderful feedback! some answers to your questions:
@BANGS: the couches face two leather chairs to create a unified seating area. wish we could have captured the whole thing in a single photo.
@V.CUTINO + @MILLISLIM: the paint in the dressing room is actually black (although it looks grey here). i'd love to give you the info, but it's just "basic matte black" from a danish hardware store.
@V.CUTINO: you can find the "C" poster here: http://www.dr-adams.dk/vare/1384-playtype-c-poster
I would really like to see more!
It almost feels like an art gallery! Nice!
I though the other international entry was my favourite (the big loft) but you've changed my mind! Although not exactly small, this is STUNNING and will live happily ever after in my inspiration folder.
Compared to some of the other entries, 925 sq ft probably "seems huge" because it is! ;)
the fringed couch is stunning!
this is a HUGE flat for Copenhagen especially for 2 people. there are families of 4 that live in that much space in the city! If this was a HUGE cool contest this would be appropriate.
Actually it makes sense for the dressing room to be there since it is closest to the bathroom.
the handmade hanging clothes closet is wonderful!!
Love it all, especially the kitchen, but I'm having difficulty understanding how to post something as a favorite.
