You might want to take advantage of our sudden spring-like weather, and take a little drive down to Santa Cruz this weekend. Not that anyone ever needs an excuse to go over the hill (so to speak), but every second Sunday, there's an antique faire, where vendors offer an eclectic blend of antiques and vintage items.
We've gone the past two months, and while it's nowhere near the size of Alameda, it's still quite fun -- and we certainly can't complain about browsing for an hour or so, having lunch, walking our dog down by the beach, driving back up the coast.

The Faire is from 9 am-4 pm.

I'm there tomorrow!
There were a lot of $300 dressers that I couldn't afford, but they were nice to look at anyhow.
I did score a $15 oil on canvas painting by Jenny Hutchins "A time for rest" and a nice wall box (?) w/mirror door, very sweet & cute.
