I saw potential with it's wide plank hard word floors, beautiful sunlight and the sea at my back door. I have collected some nice pieces of heirloom furniture and trinkets from my families and proudly incorporate them into my decor. Also, being an artist and surrounding myself with artists as my peers, I have a delightful collection of art objects as well. I moved to this tiny town not knowing a soul, to inspire me to work on new and old projects. This has been a refreshing apartment for inspiration.

Full tour please. I love the square lines of the living room furniture juxtaposed with the swirls of the carpet and the post above the sofa. The trunk with pictures above is just perfect. And the bedroom is on par with those whose budgets are probably 30 times larger. I like this home a lot.

If I was over I'd add some asymmetry - such as at the sofa and ladder book shelving. [Put the shelves together by the corner/radiator and move sofa over. Don't hang mirror in center of it. leave extra wall spot blank or add something. To enhance the homey, casual aspect. Also, why not a skirt around the bathroom sink; this is one of few time it would be suitable. To start with.,
Oops - that is don't hang poster centered over sofa. Maybe add a mirror!

Definately a shot of inspiration for those just moving into their first place! Basic, but comfy and looks really good, while not requiring a huge amount of spending. Love it!
