Finally! For years, we've admired Brooklyn artist Sarah Cihat's work from afar (i.e., in the pages of various magazines). And now we can check them out for ourselves, as they recently became available at Rose and Radish. According to the San Francisco shop's website, Cihat "scours thrift stores and garage sales for unfortunate looking dishware and breathes new life into them by reglazing and refiring them in her studio ... The end result is a collection of visually interesting yet no less beautiful service pieces that also serve as an exercise in sustainability." posted originally from: AT:San Francisco
Rose and Radish stocks Cihat's large round dish, dinner plate, luncheon plate, bowl, small platter, salad plate, ramekin and side bowl. The pieces range in price from $39 to $108 each.
