When you hear the word "poster,"
do you think of that old Rick Springfield or Farrah Fawcett poster that was long ago relegated to the trash bin? The posters at
Sarah Stocking are about as far from that as you can get.
Sarah Stocking has thousands of high-quality vintage posters from all over the world. The collection, collected over 20 years, includes not only French turn-of-the-century posters by "Belle Epoque" artist Jules Cheret and the "Art Nouveau" style of Mucha, but artwork covering subjects such as Travel, Food & Drink, Performing Arts, Products & Services, Propaganda, and Transportation.
All originals, most of the posters date to the early 1900's, although Sarah Stocking also carries original lithographs from the WWI and WWII eras, and a select number of modern posters.

Sarah Stocking also offers framing and matting. They use antique framing to reflect the period of the artwork.
Although the store is in Jackson Square, there's also an
online gallery that's updated weekly. The gallery includes about 80% of
Sarah Stocking's collection.
