Sarah over at A Beach Cottage uses her home as the star for her blog. It started out as a fixer-upper and has been transformed into a cozy and natural beach side retreat. We love how Sarah chronicles each "Before and After" while sharing great tips and DIY solutions along the way--all while on a budget...
Handpicked furniture found at the local thrift store gets a major facelift with coats of white paint. A favorite pairing of ours is antique wood mixed with fresh flowers (topped off with upcycled containers as vases). Sarah weaves in pops of color with striped pillows, wood trunks, flowers and glass vases. Be sure to check out her awesome blog where she also posts How-To videos of her home projects.

it's so pretty... but so... white. i'd be afraid to walk through with shoes on or eat my toast and tea on the sofa.
very pretty though. even if i am not into the sandpaper-white paint thing.
great job, sarah!
It's absolutely beautiful. A refreshing change from the typical MCM decor that is always on AT.
Mmmm.... lovely!
