We fell in love with the house we're renting now as soon as we saw it. But there was only one problem: it didn't have a third bedroom that could be used as a home office. The solution was to turn a small dining room that's open to the main area of the home into an office!
At first I didn't know if I would like working in a space that was open to the rest of the house, but turns out, I love it! Plus, the openness forces me to keep tabs on my messy office habits. Double win.
I love "coming" to work here everyday now- it's light, bright, modern and feminine and since it's open to the rest of the house, it feels like a much bigger space than it is. Also, I needed a lot of storage but didn't want to spend a ton of money on it. the solution was an Ikea credenza hack that I'm in love with!
Thanks for sharing, Sarah!
