The saturated jewel tones in this interior shot of Friedenstein Castle are perfect inspiration for Color Month...
We love that it's everywhere (ceilings and floors, too) and that it's punctured by bright white. Everything, even the woodwork, is painted in that beautiful deep blue and accented with dark fuschia. Could you handle this in your castle?

Wow.
Yes! I could handle it. Maybe because I'm half German?
I like the colors... but as accent colors. The darkness and saturation of this makes it completely unappealing to me.
If I had a castle, I could handle that. just give me the white marble statue to go with it. It's like a beacon of light, and check out the pilars! Those are constellation patterns :)
Gorgeous room - but I'm betting that the walls are not paint at all but inlaid Lapis Lazuli.
Wow, i love bold, saturated color, but this is a bit too trippy for me.
Yikes!
I love it, so many people are afraid of color. I hear all the time, I want beige walls with cream floors. It's so hard to get MOST people to live in color!
thumbs up
I love it. But I wouldn't put it in my home because it wouldn't work in my home, If I lived in a castle and had 100's of rooms to play with I would do it in a heart beat.
Oppressive. It looks like it belongs in "The Masque of the Red Death."
very aggressive. wow.
the only time I can imagine enjoying it is at night - cocktail party, perhaps?
yes, please, yes, yes, yes
Wowee! That color is certainly stunning.
i prefer not to ruin my castles.
I really like that.
YES!
