News to us. Perusing various sites yesterday for new spring merchandise, we stumbled across framed photographic prints at West Elm. All of the prints are limited reproductions of artwork by Savannah College of Art and Design students. Through a partnership, the school and West Elm offer a series of affordable and original artwork by emerging artists. It's great to see a big-box store support student artists...

I saw this yesterday too. I originally thought that the West Elm email was sent to me because I am a SCAD alum but then I realized that it's on the main site and open to the public. Very cool! I'd also recommend checking out:

The site mentions these are limited reproductions but doesn't seem to indicate how many will be reproduced. Does anyone know how many will be reproduced in the series? Are these numbered and signed?
I wonder why there's no mention of the partnership on West Elm's site. I was interested in some of these prints when I saw them in the catalogue, but I'm more likely to buy one now that I know they're student art.
