Danish designer Tom Rossau was recently featured on Apartment Therapy showing us all how he makes his wood veneer lamps. Now, he's back with a smart solution for those with limited space who are seeking multifunctional furniture...a coffee table that transforms into a dining table when needed.
Tom Rossau lives in a small apartment (about 650 sq. ft). with his girlfriend and was looking for a table that would function as a coffee table day to day, but could also act as a dining table when guests came by. Thus, the Convertible Bamboo Table was born.
The transformation from coffee to dining table is quite simple - the legs of the coffee table fold out to become wings of the dining table and new legs fold out bringing the table to dining table height. Now, if only Tom could figure out a way to make our couch pillows transform into additional dining chairs we'd be set.

White Enamel Four-P...
I want
Awesome. Usually these concepts look awful, this works.
I couldn't figure out what was going on until i did the click through. I just invented something in my head that works differently but has the same concept, now I need to get to work!
I live in a studio so love it. Though a table that seats 10 would be a little too big for my living space. Wish it came in a slightly smaller version.
Brilliant!!
I love convertible furniture. That's awesome.
this is perfect for my apartment. do you know where i can buy it in the states?
Simple. Perfect.
I need this in white. Where can I buy it in us?
