Recently browsing Plush Palate, I've been admiring the inspiration behind Crystal's current renovation. She's painting the bathroom with vertical black and white stripes. A bold choice, I found four other striped bathrooms with different color choices and varying style stripes.
Soft pastels, bold cool hues or citrus inspired — regardless, stripes in the bathroom are a statement choice. Depending on what mood you wish to establish, the right lighting and color are essential. Do you want a feminine girly bathroom, a unisex or a dark masculine powder room? Which do you prefer?

I like the stripes, but my teensy bathroom would be overtaken by them...even if they were wide like the yellow.
I love stripes in a room. I guess there really is a fine balance at play here but when it's done right it sure makes a statement. Done wrong, and it looks like a fun house.
