A couple of weeks ago, Jennifer showed us how to introduce a blast of bright summer into our home with the color yellow. It doesn't matter if you bend toward a Happy Modern or New Traditional style — there's an accent chair that either fits your existing decor perfectly, or takes you out of your comfort zone. From neon to saffron, yellow seating does the trick.

Gerber Sungold Accent Chair from Wayfair; $355: Love it!! I actually picked it out at the Wayfair website. Would be the exact 'POP" of color my livingroom needs; however my husband would not agree.. :<(
The Gerber Sungold Accent Chair from Wayfair looks like one I got from Target's website (the Maize Clybourn, $399 but less on sale) -- it looked great, but my husband hated sitting in it so much that we sold it after six months. I think I need to stop trying to find the nonexistent holy grail of cheap, comfortable, good-looking chairs -- used/vintage or good quality is the better (and ultimately more sustainable) way to go.
I just LOVE a yellow accent, myself! In a recent project, I used a mustard yellow old 1960s chair that I found at a junk store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, for just 30 bucks. Visitors gravitate to it and it is always getting compliments! (Especially when paired with the perfect pillow)
