Towels & Rugs
Digital, digital, digital! Mine even measures to the .2 pounds for my extra neurotic days. :)
I just dumped my digital scale (new too). It was a homedics and the weight fluctuated up to 9lbs! I'd get on be one weight, get off, get on awhile later and be way heavier. Then I'd move the scale all around the apartment (never on a rug by the way) and it be another weight in every room, always at least 3lbs off. how frustrating is that. I just bought a good old fashioned scale by some company called Taylor for 25 bucks at the hardward store, and the weight matches up with the scale at my gym (the kind the doctors offices have). I'd save my money on the digital ones, that's one area that is a step back technology wise. just my two cents (and 9 less pounds that I thought I gained!). :-)
I no longer keep a scale in the house because I found myself standing on it far too often. I like analog more, though, if only for the less precise measurements!
Mine's digital, and the readout flucuates by about seven pounds. I'm right on the verge of pitching it and not bothering to replace it.
I have a cute vintage one that's (obviously) analog, and I love it. Easy to calibrate, and it works. The only irritating part is that when you lean over to see the good (or bad) news, the shift in your body messes with the number.
