Name: Baby girl (due soon!)
Location: Watertown, NY
Going into this, I knew we wanted to create a nursery with our future home in mind (we wanted bigger purchases to be able to drift into other rooms as years went by). I love a mixture of modern and vintage finds, so a mid-century dresser was a no-brainer.
Our space was small, so I didn't want it to look like we were cramming as much stuff into it as possible. In the end, I feel like less is more. Because we are renters (and moving before the end of the year), I brought in color through the Caroline Wright painting and accessories. I tend to like Scandinavian design, so this was a perfect fit for me. The bird art piece I made via a tutorial I found on pinterest for a mobile. The crates I also found on Craigslist. For most other things, I shopped around Etsy and in other parts of our home.

I like this space a lot. Nice collection of mixed materials and not cookie cutter at all.
Where did you get the alphabet? is it cut out?
This is one of my most favorite nurseries I've seen. I love the warm neutrals, the texture of the wooden pieces, the bird mobile, the painting above the crib . . . It looks soothing and interesting at the same time - well done and congratulations on your baby girl!
And the alphabet! How could I forget? I was just reading that Montessorians introduce lower case letters first because you see more of them than upper case letters, which I've never thought of but makes perfect sense. I absolutely love this alphabet display and it actually looks like something your little girl will be able to learn from.
Where is that pretty crib sheet from???
I really like this. Such a bright and peaceful room.
I wanted to ask about the crib sheet also. I like how neutral and serene this is.
theplumathree, I happened to look at the blog to track down the bird tutorial, and in another post she says that her mom sewed the crib sheet. She did have a link to the source for the fabric, though.
Thank you so much everyone for all your sweet comments! I have all the resources here:

Let me know if there's anything I left out (hcRestlessOasis@gmail.com). Also, my mom helped me with the bird mobile/art piece and I have the info on that link.
Two words: Peaceful and calm. I love it.
I adore the branch perches and the birdies. How whimsical. I can just imagine being oceanside with some seagulls hanging around.
Yes, peaceful and calm. Love.
I love this! classic, simple and cozy at the same time. Less clutter, less to clean.
I'm interested in the wall color? Do you recall what color you used? Thanks!
The lamp, the white lamp is...stunning! Where did you get that?
And yes, I love the calm, Scandinavian scene.
Hey guys! Thanks again for all your nice comments:). The paint color is Manual Barracks from Sherwin-Williams, and the lamp I got on clearance at West Elm (you might get lucky because I bought it in March:).
I agree that this is my favorite nursery from AT (I may be biased...it looks a lot like ours for our 2 year old son). Thank you for showing a nursery without bumpers or other potential hazards around the crib! Best wishes as you welcome your baby girl!
It's kinda somber for a kid, isn't it? Everything in shades of grey is a bit unrelenting. Granted, it's calm and peaceful but you don't want to bore the poor tyke.
Absolutely perfect.
