Scandinavian Nursery on a Budget

My Room

Name: Baby girl (due soon!)
Location: Watertown, NY

Going into this, I knew we wanted to create a nursery with our future home in mind (we wanted bigger purchases to be able to drift into other rooms as years went by). I love a mixture of modern and vintage finds, so a mid-century dresser was a no-brainer.

Our space was small, so I didn't want it to look like we were cramming as much stuff into it as possible. In the end, I feel like less is more. Because we are renters (and moving before the end of the year), I brought in color through the Caroline Wright painting and accessories. I tend to like Scandinavian design, so this was a perfect fit for me. The bird art piece I made via a tutorial I found on pinterest for a mobile. The crates I also found on Craigslist. For most other things, I shopped around Etsy and in other parts of our home.
