Scarlett's mom, Kim, sent us photos of what the end results were and they are certainly what Scarlett had in mind. The color scheme, art placement, even the bedding is just as it looked in Scarlett's initial room illustration. What a great feeling of satisfaction to see her planning and hard work come to fruition. Great job, Scarlett!
The last time we checked in with Scarlett, she was a 12-year-old budding designer who was measuring her room in "Square Scarlett Feet" and definitely had a clear idea of what she wanted her new bedroom to look like.

What a great post. Excellent job realizing your dream, Scarlett! I especially love the blue color you chose for the walls.
HUGE improvement! Amazing Scarlett! I bet you could get hired by others to design a cool teen room!
The curtains are fabulous!
Love the colors in this room and the art piece is perfect!
Cute! Very nice job.
Really, really lovely!
Can you tell us anything about the art over the bed? I love it!
Cute room! I thought it was funny that she drew the TV as a flat screen...totally shows what generation she's growing up in! :)
Love the dot curtains.
I was so impressed when I woke up one morning to find this design taped to our refrigerator. Square Scarlett Feet says it all.
The art over the bed is by Kim Parker.
The comforter is Pottery Barn Teen.
Curtains, shams and pillows made from Target College Dorm spreads. My talented artist and designer sister in Mississippi sewed for us. We traded materials and finished goods by Fedex and Scarlett told her exactly what she wanted.
All furniture is IKEA which night owl Scarlett assembled all by herself.
She is now planning her next design. What a girl!
