Sort of a slow day today on LA's Craigslist. Too many listings for cubicles (sign of the times) and a multitude of European knock-off classical furniture pieces that remind us why we tend to gravitate to modern forms. Alongside the Danish modern selection we found some interesting listings like some free drywall and construction material for the taking and church pews, but it's the teak dresser desk that we love the most and hope someone takes home. Check out our ten picks for Friday below...

I love Danish styling! So great.

Wow... that sewing cabinet is awesome.
I agree. The sewing cabinet is easily the best find of the bunch, especially for the price.
Why are there so few Scavenger posts from the LA blog? San Francisco, New York, DC all seem to have them daily... Just curious.
My aunt uses church pews as dining table benches. They look great, although everyone on one end has to shuffle out if someone sitting in the middle wants to get out!
I'm with cvjn, there are hardly any Los Angeles Scavenger posts any more, way under what the other cities post. I find this resource incredibly useful... what has happened?
