I regret buying a Petrie sofa.

Really? Why? I'm starting to look around for a sofa, and any info like this is very helpful.

It's not practical for a small living space since it will most likely be the only couch and hence get too much traffic. The buttons on the seat cushions are coming off, the cushions' threads are unraveling, white was a BAD IDEA (they look so dingy already and we've only had it a few months and need to clean it all the time).... It's to bad too because I love the way it looks. I bought it nearly brand new for 800 on CL in san francisco. I regret it totally.

Thanks for the info...all similar issues I could see myself running into.
