I have two sapiens and then I got a couple spines and they are so dramatically inferior in both function and aesthetics that I had to sell them (one unopened) and even at a 40% loss.
They are cumbersome to assemble, have a lame finish, are not sturdy, and are made of much softer metal than either CB2s version and DWR's. They are also too short and consequently don't hold enough books for the oversize footprint.
I have waaay too many books for this silly thing.
hold out a few months & they'll start appearing on cl & other classifieds sites for under a hundred bucks. almost guaranteed.
I'm actually one of the people with items listed above. Thank you for the extra exposure. However, I am really shocked as to how rude potential customers have become. A little common courtesy goes a long long way.
